Dunedin Double Wood is produced by the New Zealand Whisky Company. The company was founded in 2009 specifically to continue using the last 443 casks from the already closed Willowbank distillery. The 18-year-old consists of 70% Single Malt and 30% Grain whisky, which, after six years in bourbon barrels, was further matured for 12 years in French oak barrels that previously contained New Zealand red wine.
