This Single Grain comes from Loch Lomond Distillery and is made from 100% malted barley distilled on Coffey stills. The Spearhead was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and then in fresh American white oak casks. The post-maturing casks were flamed out with infrared light and fire to give the whisky a pleasant sweetness and a smooth finish.
